Tricia Trotman-Maraj

Tricia Trotman-Maraj is an International Speaker, Management Consultant and advocate Raising Awareness of Violence Against Women and Children – A Global Crisis. She is also founder and director of Born to Win Global. Her background in Education and Management, which spans more than two decades in the public and private sectors, has allowed her the privilege of working with clients in various parts of the world and of all walks of life. Tricia is a people focused, inspiration driven, disciplined, big-picture-thinker who is outcome focused yet down to earth. She specialises in:

  • motivating troubled youth toward academic success and holistic development through a multi-disciplinary approach, and focused work;

  • helping clients to develop their organisation especially through the change process;

  • enabling clients to optimise their communication styles and forward planning;

  • enabling clients to set strategies that will allow them to keep improving daily;

  • motivating clients toward success in the face of adversity; empowering women leaders through education/training right where they are towards practical solutions approaches that positively affect them and their families; and

  • Project creation and implementation through strategic alliances that target the extremely vulnerable through income generation and entrepreneurship schemes aimed at breaking the poverty cycle.

Tricia is also the author of West Indian-Chronicles: Mamie a book that highlights the plight of women and girls in the West Indies post-emancipation. Her literary work is currently being used by the University of Münster, Germany in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, Trinidad & Tobago as part of the Trinidad and Tobago component of the International Corpus of English (ICE) global academic research project. Her quantitative research project, a study done over three years, on the use of ICT’s in schools has been used to inform national education policy by the government of Trinidad & Tobago. 

Tricia Trotman-Maraj is a multi-skilled and multi-talented natural leader who strongly believes in win-win strategic partnerships and empowering the disempowered.
