We operate our businesses in a world of automation, systems, and now artificial intelligence.   While this is necessary today as strategies to do business, we cannot continue to assume this will sustain it long term without considering mindset.  Now, we are not talking just mindset here but actually growth mindset.

There is growth and fixed mindsets.  A majority of the world operates from within a fixed mindset.   This is a mindset where we go about our day living life and doing business on autopilot.  People with fixed mindsets are usually unaware of what they do and not do that is actually stagnating their process in business and where they currently stand in life.  It is certain habits of lack of the right ones that keep us stuck and not allow us to progress with accelerating our businesses.

Confidence vs. Self-doubt

A fixed mindset is forged in childhood by observing what we see in our parents.  It is always tied to limited beliefs to what we pick up from them but most of the time aligned more specifically to one parent.  It is limited beliefs that lead to a level of lower self-esteem and confidence that we carry into adulthood.  These limited beliefs in adulthood often play a major role with creating situations that lead to experience the feeling of self-doubt and lack of confidence.   We experience them through emotions like anger, shame, guilt, jealousy, envy, or any combination thereof.   Future situations are created from limited beliefs to experience them over and over again through these emotions.

Good Communication generates healthy engagement

So why does this play a role with affecting our peak potential in business?  A fixed mindset often attaches itself to co-dependent relationships in the workplace which create expectations that often go unfulfilled.  This leads to ineffective communication and lack of healthy engagement with one another.  The results of this lead to barriers with peak performance in productivity, efficiency, and profitability. 

So how does one adopt a growth mindset that leads to accelerating our business for greater productivity, efficiency, and profitability?   The path to a growth mindset starts with awareness that you are not where you want to be in your business.   Next, we must accept where we are and make a commitment to the process to find the source to our limited beliefs and resolve it from the core.  It means letting go from the core of true forgiveness to the source (a parent).   Forgiving yourself is even more important to eradicate the problem from within and in the same place create the solution starting with a clear foundation.   The process to resolve the root cause consists of the following:

  1. Organization Task (ex. making your bed everyone) consistently every day to set the mindset toward being focused and in the moment.
  2. Meditation – consistently every day to be present and focused
  3. Journaling – writing down what comes to mind without overthinking or analyzing to locate the source to your limited beliefs at the subconscious level.  

The solution does not end here by just resolving the root cause to your limited beliefs.  It also means being consistent with these habits or disciplines above along with others that serve you to align with your purpose and ability to focus on your core strengths that add value to others.  Being in the solution allows for more clarity which leads to more decisiveness and finally taking massive action with follow-through.

Keeping a good work- life balance accelerate your business

In addition, it is very important to develop a life & business strategy that is very specific and time-oriented to truly accelerate your business.   Why is it necessary to include the life component to your business strategy?   Whatever happens in life affects your business and vice versa.   It is imperative to build your business around the lifestyle you desire and have a specific detailed and time oriented plan to do it.   This means mapping out your life & business strategy for the rest of your life or in the case of business when you exit or sell the business.  Think of it like six sigma terms where you break out everything down to the smallest component to make each phase attainable to fulfill your objective or goals.
