All in Women Empowerment

Is your Business a third wheel in your relationship?

I know what it is like to run a thriving business and also exactly what it takes to get there. The personal, emotional and time investment are huge, especially when you are starting up. The toll this can take on a relationship, even a strong one, can be quite immense and overlooked, especially when as ambitious women striving to make a change in the world we have a very direct focus.

Woman's Power Redefined

‘You are never alone. It is very important that women support each other. Connect, stay in touch, help, listen, be kind, share your success story, ask for help if you experience difficulties. You can achieve your big dream as long as you have the courage to put your name on it!’- Ivana de Haan, the Netherlands

The Titans of Titanium Gardening Tools

‘We should never underestimate the power of women connecting and supporting each other at work, it is great to use this network to its highest potential. We experience the same obstacles and can learn from each other’s challenges and solution to make the most of opportunities at hand. I believe that having more women in leadership roles will help social progress and prosperity in the future.’ Wilma Peelen, Director of Sneeboer, The Netherlands

Birth Forward

Eline Pedersen, Doctor of Chiropractic

Eline graduated with a Bachelor and a Master Degree from Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2004. Since her student days she has proactively worked with a multidisciplinary approach where the patient is at the centre of their health care, respected, informed and offered the best available evidence-based practice from his or her chosen health team. She has dedicated her career to understanding the effect of birth trauma to the developing child, and the pregnant and birthing woman’s health and wellbeing in transition to motherhood. She loves the chiropractic role in the multidisciplinary birthing team working together for the best possible birth outcome by reducing the chances for both physical, chemical and emotional stress and trauma during pregnancy, birth and childhood years.

Conversations with a woman like me…..

My message to our readers is that it's not important how we start, but how we finish the race, and no matter the slowness of the pace, we must carry on….so much is expected of us, as women, in our roles as daughters, mothers, wives and, at times, it can be a tough balancing act, but learning from stories of conquering of other women we can draw strength from the experiences of others, and fulfil our mandates, as well as maintain our sanity.  Nobody said it would be easy!!

Love Monday

Rachel Tracey, Biomedical Scientist, Author, is sharing her story to inspire others who may begin to see their true worth. 'There is plenty of room for everybody to be “great”, and this starts with knowing and accepting yourself. We can all have a seat at “the table” and I want others to realise that too and be mobilised into action.'
